In a significant development for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the promotion of Shri T. Gopala Krishna to the esteemed post of Joint Commissioner in NVS.
This promotion comes as a result of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held on 7th July 2025, during which the committee unanimously recommended Shri Gopala Krishna for the elevated role. The recommendation was subsequently approved by the Competent Authority.
As per the official order issued by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSE&L), Shri T. Gopala Krishna—who was serving as Deputy Commissioner—will now assume charge as Joint Commissioner, placed in Level 13 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with effect from the date he takes charge of the post.
