From her rigorous academic years to her role as a Senior Consultant Gynecologist at multiple hospitals in Mathura, Dr. Pushpa’s story is a powerful testament to how passion and service can shape not only a career but an entire community.

Building the Foundation: JNV Mathura and a Vision for Service

Dr. Pushpa’s journey began at JNV Mathura, where she spent seven formative years growing academically and personally. As a bright and focused student, she was inspired by the values of discipline, compassion, and commitment to community that Navodaya instills in its students. These early years at JNV Mathura laid the groundwork for her future in medicine, igniting within her a desire to serve and make a positive impact on the lives of others. By the time she graduated, she had already set her sights on a career that would allow her to contribute to the well-being of her community.

The Path to Medicine: JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University

Driven by her goal to pursue medicine, Dr. Pushpa went on to complete her MBBS in 2011 and later a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO) in 2013 from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University. Her years at JNMC were marked by rigorous academic training and hands-on experience, allowing her to gain critical skills in patient care, diagnostics, and specialized gynecological procedures. The program not only honed her technical abilities but also deepened her compassion, equipping her with the empathy required to care for women at different stages of life.

A Career in Service: Leading Gynecologist and Community Healer

Following her academic journey, Dr. Pushpa began her medical career as a Senior Resident Doctor at Delhi Nursing Hospital, Bahadurgarh, and later at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in New Delhi, where she worked until 2015. These initial roles allowed her to gain practical experience in high-pressure environments, refining her expertise in gynecology while caring for diverse groups of patients. Working as a senior resident in New Delhi’s bustling healthcare environment gave her exposure to complex cases, shaping her into a versatile and compassionate physician.

In 2017, Dr. Pushpa took on a more senior role as a Senior Consultant Gynecologist at Saxena Multispecialty Hospital in Sonipat. Over the next five years, she became a trusted healthcare provider for countless women, building strong relationships with her patients and advocating for women’s health. Her approach to patient care was not only thorough but also deeply compassionate, always aiming to provide a safe and supportive environment for her patients.

In 2022, she returned to her roots in Mathura, where she now serves as a Senior Consultant Gynecologist at three major hospitals: PR Hospital, Uppal Nursing Home, and The Gastro & Liver Care Superspeciality Hospital. Her work spans these institutions, allowing her to reach a wide range of patients and provide specialized care in a region where access to quality healthcare is vital. Her dedication to her patients and her community has made her a highly respected figure in Mathura’s medical field.

A Personal and Professional Partnership: Married to Fellow Navodayan Sher Singh Rajpoot

In 2016, Dr. Pushpa married Sher Singh Rajpoot, her batchmate from JNV Mathura. Their shared history and values have created a strong foundation for both their marriage and their professional lives. Sher Singh, an engineer turned entrepreneur, shares her dedication to community and service. Together, they are an inspiring duo, committed to both personal growth and the betterment of Mathura. Their partnership is a true Navodayan story, rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and a common vision for uplifting their community.

A Lifelong Navodayan: Supporting the Alumni Community

Beyond her role as a healthcare provider, Dr. Pushpa remains deeply connected to the Navodaya community.
